Community Supported Agriculture
June 4th- October 29th 2025
Is at the heart of what and why we do!
Feel as though there is a disconnect between the system and the food you eat every day? Want to make a change and become more intimately engaged in truly understanding how and who grew the food that nourishes you? Sign up for a spot in our CSA- community supported agriculture. This is a space for folks who want to truly know their farmer, and have an intimate relationship with them.
June 4th-October 29th with 22 Wednesday Pickup Points in the Skagit Valley, Ballard, University District and Shoreline/Edmonds areas.
Two box sizes to fit the needs of your family- Picnic Basket + Bounty Box . The Picnic Basket is 6-8 items and the Bounty Box is 8-10 each week. Each week will be different with some overlap in certain seasons (like heavy greens the first few weeks of June).
Add a flower subscription to really make your 2025 locally focused. All flowers and produce is Certified Organic and grown right here on our farm.
You are committing to the 22 weeks. If you are going to miss a week due to vacation or something there are a few options:
Donate your box! (You can tell us and we’ll donate it, or you can!)
Ask your friend if they’d be interested in “buying” your share that week, or simply gift someone your week that you will miss. What an awesome way to share all that we’re cultivating here in this community.
Is a CSA Right for Me?
Ask yourself these questions before signing up to be sure that being involved in a CSA is the right decision!
1. Is having a relationship with the farmer important to me?
This is perhaps the most important piece of a CSA- for us, and you! The relationship is mutually beneficial. You help us by investing in our farm at the beginning of the season with a large upfront (if possible) chunk of money. From there, we take it away and begin to grow your food! Because this is a membership style and it’s a commitment for the season, we are also committing to you as your farmers. It’s a really wonderful relationship that we treasure greatly! You will get a weekly email written by me (Grace) with interesting tidbits from the farmlife, and opportunities like farm walks, dinners, products + events that only members get!
If none of this interests you and you dont’ mind just buying your food from the store each week- you should answer no!
2. Are you willing to try new foods?
This is an important part of being invested in 22 weeks of produce. We grow SO much variety, that surely there will be weeks when you get a celariac or an interesting herb that you don’t know or might not be familiar with. Will you be open to trying to use it? We’ll help with recipes and personal uses that we like in our weekly newsletter! Don’t worry- you will recognize most things!
3. Are you afraid of commitment?
This is a committed relationship okay? No take backs! All seriousness aside- when we are taking membership sign ups, it’s because the $ helps fuel and fund our season, and it’s a way of knowing, or having a fairly good idea of funds that are guaranteed for the season. This means we can invest in a big purchase early on in the Spring when it’s most important to do so! Because of this, it’s truly important (and required) that you stick it out! Of course we’re understanding if there’s some extenuating circumstance but please do understand that when you sign up, there’s no take backs! You’re in it for the duration of the season- and honestly it’s going to be a blast!
4. Are you looking for a “deal” on your weekly produce?
Though we do feel as though what you get over the season in relation to the $ is an incredible deal, that’s not the point. And, if that’s really important to you, then this probably isn’t the right situation for either of us! We plan our growing season based on how many CSA customers we have, so as not to waste food. We price our CSA at about what you would pay for produce at our market- though we feel as you get a whole lot more than just buying from the market. You get the pleasure of being in a community of folks who are investing in their farmers, supporting a small, local farm, and contributing to understanding our food system in a more unique and intimate way. In return for investing in our farm, we give you about 10-15% more produce than you paid for over the course of the season, first dibs at any extra or bulk items, weekly emails written by yours truly that include an inside look at farm life, and of course opportunities to attend farm events that we plan on hosting for members only.
Depending on what your answers were will give you a pretty good idea if this CSA membership is for you! If you answered primarily no’s, it’s probably not a good fit, and we want to be transparent about that from the beginning! It’s important for us that this a real relationship, and the reality is… sometimes relationships don’t work out! We’ve tried to do some of the initial work for us all to determine if it’s going to work out for the season! We hope you will love this experience.
