Our Core Values
We started farming because at our core we believe food has the power to connect, inspire, and humble us. Growing food has helped teach us what it means to be human and the responsibility to learn from and with the land. We are first generation farmers that believe if we can become intimately aware and engaged with growing the food, we will change the world! Going into our third season, we are honing our skills, talents all we’ve learned. This year just might be the best one yet.
Passion- this whole thing started because we’re two of the most passionate people we know. And when something lights our hearts on fire- we think it’s our duty to share that with the world.
Love
If it weren’t for each other, there’s not a chance we’d be able to do this. At least not in the ways we’re doing now. We’ve inspired one another to really reach for our dreams. To attack them with fervor and passion. It’s wonderful watching them unfold together.
Gratitude- when you experience starting thousands of little tiny seeds and watching them morph into this incredible plant that produces nourishment for so many, it’s hard not to feel grateful. This road we’re on is a dream that’s still unfolding, but every day we are terribly grateful for the opportunity.
Integrity
We like to say we have food integrity. We put so much of our energy, heart and time into the food we produce. Aside from what we grow, it’s important to us to know where the food we put in our bodies comes from (aside from the vegetables!).. We are conscious consumers and support other local farmers as much as possible.
